Moisten a soft, clean cloth with vodka, then rub briskly.

Remove Limescale from Kettles with no chemicals
September 14th, 2011 | Posted by in Cleaning Tips | Environmentally Friendly - (0 Comments)To remove limescale from electric kettles, fill to the minimum level with White Vinegar, add the same amount of cold water, and boil. It’s a good idea to ventilate the room though because that Vinegar is pretty strong! Let the water cool in the kettle, and pour out. You’ll have to boil a couple of kettles afterwards with water to remove any odour – but this works really well, and is much cheaper than many of the commercial products

Stop Spiders moving in!

The best way to keep Spiders from making their home inside yours is to place Conkers (Horse Chestnut) at the corner of each room. It really works! Alternatively you can buy “Conker Spray” from people such as Kleeneze which also works, but is more expensive.
